Logos –
There is a lot of typography in this documentary separating the different sections of the film, The font remains the same throughout and has a rustic film feel to it which matches the rest of the film. The logos e see are at the beginning which is 'presented by nowness' letting them know the distributor and the type of film it is. Now ness are a notorious channel for experimental, interesting independent media products, so the fact its on the channel adds to the branding and makes sense to the genre of the documentary. This film type is observational and realist but quite dream like and artistic which is apart of the branding, portraying young people in a beautiful way.
· Fashion/Look –
This documentary has an old fashioned, vintage feel to it. This is because it was shot on a film camera.
It was shot on film to give it a more homely feeling and show intimacy, this director does this a lot and likes showing relationships and allowing audiences to connect with the characters. The film scratches and hand held movement adds to this and shows an imperfectness to the way it was made, thus making it have more realist components and makes audiences almost immerse in this world and reality displayed. the clothes

The diagetic sound is of the surroundings, there isnt much edited and unnatural sound. In this documentary they have a lot of young people native to jeruselem speaking on their diverse experiences. They at times directly look into the camera and speak to audiences. Therre is no directors influence which therefpre makes it seem like the audience are just watching the world around them. We watch as the young adults mess around, walk around their neighbourhood and speak on cureent affairs. We see a girl skateboarding and a boy dancing, some people talking through their process of creating music all without influence of the director or a narrator leading the narritve making it seem like the people in the documentart are leading the story and creating their own representation. Also the audience accepts this representation as it seems realistic and doesnt seem made up or tampered with. This is unadulterly from the perspective of the youths of jeruselem.

I found out about this documentary through instagram as i follow both the director and the distributing account. This also came up on my suggestions on youtube. This was shared on an account made for independent films, the distribution is done on youtube so to gain views the filmmaker had to utilise social media. The advertising wasn't eccentric or elaborate but was simple like the film, clips of the film were shown to create mystery for the documentary. The documentary may have mostly been on social media as the target audience are young people and also youth culture is a key theme so this could possibly be apart of the branding not to mention it saves money.
